The Bookroom Café (upstairs, and part of the bookshop) serves a selection of Italian coffees, black and herb teas, organic hot chocolate, juices and smoothies. We offer a selection of real French patisserie - croissant, pain au chocolat and the like, and serve delicious organic Boston brownies and muffins.
Light lunches include freshly prepared sandwiches and panini; humous, olive and salad platter; toasted New York bagels with cream cheese, and a bowl of Vicky’s ever popular hot home-made soup of the day. Why not relax in the Bookroom and browse a few titles whilst enjoying your meal?
The Bookroom Café is where the Bookshop's courses and events are held. It seats twenty people comfortably; tables can be moved to create larger working surfaces; there are leather stools, but seats with backs can also be supplied. There is good audio equipment available for courses requiring audio, and complete black-out facilities allow for the showing of slides, DVD's and films. (See Events and Courses).
