Room Hire

Kemptown Bookshop is the perfect place for your meeting, launch, party or workshop. The Bookroom Cafe – upstairs at the bookshop – is available to hire after 5.30pm most days and rates start from £30 an hour.

The hire includes use of the cafe facilities including crockery, cutlery, ice and ice buckets. A barista will be on site throughout to serve coffee from local roaster White Cloud and freshly-brewed tea from Bird & Blend (charged separately) but you can bring your own drinks if preferred.

The space can sit 16 people at tables for a training course or meeting, 30 theatre style and up to 50 standing. You can also have break-out groups on the bookshop’s other two floors if required.

Surrounded by books and fine art prints, the shop is an iconic venue in the heart of Kemptown Village, Brighton which is the ideal backdrop for your event.
